Quality Assurance Practice for Guidewire (GFIT)

The CastleBay Quality Assurance Practice for Guidewire offers a comprehensive approach to testing Guidewire products. The practice provides processes and tools for QA planning, test case analysis, inspections, manual and automated testing, and QA metrics. These processes have been designed by Guidewire Certified Consultants based on past Guidewire projects.

GFIT is an automated testing facility for Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter.  GFIT allows for rapid development and execution of test cases for:

Quality Assurance Tools

C-WATIR is an automated test tool for testing Web-based applications. Written in the Ruby scripting language, C-WATIR combines the two open source libraries:

  • Framework for Integrated Tests (FIT)

  • Web Application Testing in Ruby (WATIR)

CastleBay has melded these libraries in its own framework.
Using C-WATIR involves some programming in Ruby to drive Web applications.

C-WATIR is available for no licensing costs to CastleBay clients. CastleBay provides training and consulting support in the tool.
